A FREELANCE WRITER AND EDITOR BASED near Seattle, Washington, Lisa Costantino writes for both print and online clients, with an emphasis on travel writing. She is also an up-and-coming author with a novel currently in final revisions.
Skilled at creating content encompassing a broad range of topics, Lisa has produced personal finance guides for Ernst & Young, numerous travel essays, book reviews, marketing studies, brochures, advertising copy, and an extensive series of wedding-planning articles for Amazon.com. She also edited Live at the Forbidden City: Musical Encounters in China & Taiwan, by Dennis Rea.
Despite the broad scope of subject matter, Lisa’s favorite niche is travel writing, and she has been for years a regular contributor to Maggie Award–winning travel publication Virtuoso Life. Other projects have included feature articles, slide shows, and a series of cruise-ship reviews for Expedia.com; the updating of a travel guidebook to Atlantic Canada for Moon Handbooks; and a musical road trip for Lexus magazine.
Lisa entered the editorial field in San Diego, California, but her writing career got its start at Microsoft, where she wrote, edited, and managed copious amounts of content for CD-ROM products on baseball, basketball, aviation, and travel in the United States. She has both the honor and dubious distinction of having graduated from the University of Washington one-hundredth of a point shy of summa cum laude.
